We want to thank and acknowledge the original caretakers of the land Homegrown Fitness is on including the traditional territories of the Anishinabewaki ᐊᓂᔑᓈᐯᐗᑭ, Haudenosaunee, Mississauga, Mississaugas of the Credit and Wendake-Nionwentsio. Tkaronto is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. As a community space rooted in movement and strength, we commit to practicing gratitude for this land, honouring its original caretakers, and reflecting on how we can contribute to reconciliation and equity in our daily work.
